Kalakrutii is a digital storefront designed to showcase traditional crafts and artisanal products. The project focused on creating an artistic, immersive experience that honors the craftsmanship of the products through modern web design.

02 / The Challenge

We needed to build an e-commerce platform that feels like a digital gallery. Standard grid layouts were insufficient to convey the artistic value of the products. We had to implement fluid animations and non-traditional layouts that engage the user without compromising the core functionality of an online store.

03 / The Solution

We designed a bespoke interface that utilizes cinematic scrolling and dynamic layout shifts. Product narratives are woven into the browsing experience through interactive storytelling elements. We engineered a seamless cart and checkout flow that remains accessible despite the highly artistic presentation layer.

04 / Technology Stack

The project leverages the Shopify backend for secure commerce functionality, paired with React to handle the state-driven frontend components. Framer Motion was utilized to execute the fluid, physics-based animations that define the site's immersive experience.

05 / Outcome

Kalakrutii successfully merges art and commerce. The platform provides a unique, engaging digital environment that elevates the perceived value of the artisanal products while maintaining a robust, reliable purchasing pipeline.
